Fall 1995 - some international pagaent dealy...

O.k. talk about an out of sequence picture. This was me nine years ago. I'm (obviously) the black girl in the middle . My hair was relaxed and slicked back into a frenchroll (or a bun or something...I don't remember). I just found this picture online. Now...you'd THINK with this smile I have I would've been flashing my pearly whites huh? Not me...I hated my smile back then and it's a shame don't you think ... tsk tsk ... no wonder I didn't win (but I placed 14th). I can't believe I thought I had an ugly smile back then......*sigh*, youth is so deceptive at times.

Boy let me be 19 again and in that show, they'd be so sick of me and my personality, jokes and smiles they'd mail the crown to me before the pagaent ... yeah I said it! ... ....

Moving right along...
I've decided to rotate between twists, braids and loose for the next 4 months. The pattern will go as follows: 2 weeks twisted, 1 week loose, 2 weeks braided, 1 week loose. I will trim when needed (March) and do all the other maintanence deals but I think this will continue to give my hair the rest it has been enjoying so far. I will update my album but, honestly, it may get pretty boring 'cause it's gonna be the same thing for a while. But the diehard troopers will stick with me right? anyone?
O.k. then, twists slated for next Monday. See you then.
