After being totally confused about protein reconstructors like Aubrey
GPB, I've finally gotten a clue. Here's another great reconstructor that I use when necessary (I'd say once every couple - 3 months now). You must follow this up with a moisturizing conditioner as it leaves your hair hard, but stronger (which is the point).

I put on my conditioner cap and heat under the dryer or wrapped in
a towel. I then remove the towel (after 10-20 minutes depending on
heating method) and rinse throughly. I then follow with a moisturizing
conditioner.
