My hairdresser recommended
this stuff to me and it is THE BOMB!!!! It is made by Nioxin Research
Laboratories in Atlanta (nioxin.com)
and is actually a scalp and hair therapy (as you can tell by the name).
I love how this stuff feels on my scalp (tingly) although honestly it does
smell a tad like toothpaste.
~edited~ Ever since I cut off my relaxed hair I've
used this less and less. It's still really good, but I'm finding that
I don't see much of a difference between this and other (cheaper)
conditioners on my natural hair.
Price: $29.99 for 25 oz. Purchased:Beauty
First Salon Usage: After I wash my hair thoroughly I separate my
hair in the shower and saturate my hair with the Nioxin. It is thick,
so I make sure all of my scalp is covered and then all of my hair.
I then put on a metallic shower cap and sit under the dryer for 10
minutes. I then get back into the shower and rinse the conditioner
out of my hair using a wide toothed comb.
